Arcade (Stern, 1980)

Review

This game is mostly here because of the incredible synthesized robot voices, which were sampled for the Aphex Twin track 54 Cymru Beats. The sound effects and look of the game are also terrific, and the style is right in my wheelhouse. Mechanically, it's a decent arcade game with as much lasting appeal as you'll find in an arcade game of the day, i.e. not much. The vibes, however, are off the charts.
