This is a pretty strange platformer, when you think about it: you can press up on the D-pad at any time to start flying indefinitely. Most platformers that let you fly put quite strict limits on the ability, but here, you can fly as much as you want because the game is designed around it. You can't "fly over the whole game" because there's stuff in the air you have to deal with too, and you're slow and relatively defenseless in the air. Besides, you want to be on the ground so you can absorb enemy abilities, that's the cool thing to do in this game. Everything is very cleverly designed to let you feel powerful without being overpowered. I really enjoy it. Nightmare in Dreamland is a complete remake of Kirby's Adventure for the Game Boy Advance. I like it too.
