I'll be honest: this game doesn't feel great to play. You move slowly and the jump feels weak. Using items to "climb" over obstacles feels broken. It's easy to feel like you're playing wrong and, at times, it feels like the game expects the impossible from you. You have to repeatedly backtrack to a level with a "speed shoes" powerup to feel like you're moving at the proper speed. However, what you do in Puggsy is completely unique. It's an environmental puzzle platformer, a "physics sandbox" years before that was a thing. There are dozens of objects to interact with, and figuring out how they interact with each other and the world brings a level of depth I've never seen in another platformer. It's an unpolished gem.
