Review

This game has a lot of problems, but I did like it enough to finish it, so it belongs in my collection. I like exploring the open world. It's a very early platform adventure game, and that part works quite well. The world is laid out in a sensible, navigable manner, and I never feel like backtracking is a tedious chore. The world's fun to explore. The action part has a lot of problems. The range on your attack is poor and I felt ill-suited for combat for most of the game. The magic is nice, but doesn't last long enough. The knockback and short invincibility time makes combat frustrating most of the time. The final boss is all but impossible if you haven't found enough thunder magic to cheese your way through it. Still, the game is full of charming characters and art and interesting things, and I thought it was worth enduring the bad parts to see the good parts. I can't recommend it to others.
