An interesting game which, at first blush, bears some resemblance to The Legend of Zelda. You play an elfin character exploring forest and dungeon environments from a top-down perspective. The bow and arrow is like a better-feeling version of Link's sword-chuck attack. That's where the similarities end, because this is a completely linear action game. You occasionally find items that can restore health, power up your attack or hit every enemy on the screen. You find equipment, but each piece just increases your maximum life by 1. You go through the levels shooting every monster til you find the key for the next level. There are 31 repeating levels. The manual suggests that players loop through all 31 levels 4 times if they want to reach an ending, but no thank you.
